How many times have you heard employers complain about the lack of work skills and adequate preparation of graduates for jobs in today's workforce? How often have you heard students say that they see no connection between what they are learning in class and the "real world"? A unique aspect of the College-NOW program is the direct and meaningful involvement of business and community partners in the implementation of the problem based learning curriculum. Partner participation ranges from providing real problems from the workplace to providing on-site job shadowing/visitation/internships and many other opportunities for students to apply their classroom instruction to the real world.
